A thank you that doesn’t feel big enough
When we started talking about bringing Ladd Daze back, we had a vision of what we wanted it to be. A full park, music playing, kids running around, old friends catching up, families spending the weekend together, and that small town feeling so many of us remember.
What we couldn’t do was make all of that happen on our own.
Our sponsors made it possible.
Businesses, organizations, families, and individuals from Ladd and throughout our surrounding communities stepped up with monetary donations because they believed in what we were trying to bring back.
And we truly cannot thank you enough.
Because of your support, we got to watch that vision come to life. The park was packed. People stayed for hours. Kids made memories. Old friends found each other again. Families spent the weekend together.
One of the things that meant the most was hearing about former Ladd residents who made plans to come home for Ladd Daze. Some traveled hours. Some came from out of state. They came back to the town they once called home to see old friends, walk familiar streets, and be part of it again.
That is exactly what we hoped Ladd Daze could be.
Your sponsorship did so much more than help pay for an event. You helped bring back something people missed. You helped create a reason for people to come home and gave another generation the chance to make some of the same small town summer memories so many of us grew up with.
