Our hearts are with Charlie’s family, friends, and everyone throughout the Lakes Region, the state, and the motorcycle community mourning the loss of this icon.

Charlie dedicated much of his life to Laconia. Through public service, local business, community involvement, and decades of leadership leading Laconia Motorcycle Week since 1991, Charlie has always been a pillar of our community.

Charlie was a familiar face and a constant presence downtown. His passion for Laconia, his willingness to serve, and the countless connections he made on the road will leave a lasting legacy.

Thank you, Charlie, for being a champion of motorcycling, our community, and every person you connected with! Your presence will be missed.

So special tonight.

Two of the most influential humans in my life both came to our show tonight. Mark Martin is not only one of the greatest nascar drivers of all time but has been my close friend for 16 years now. Eliot has been paramount in my career and a man that I can talk to anytime about anything. Both of these men have changed my life over the years and have been a large part of my success in their own way.

Today we have the honor of having Mark Martin at our venue for a very special book signing before the Official Recycled Percussion shows. ❤️

This is Mark’s second book in nearly 30 years, and this one takes fans far beyond his accomplishments in NASCAR. Never Lift dives into a much more personal journey, sharing not just what Mark has done, but who he is. The stories, experiences, challenges, and intricate details that shaped the man behind the racing legend.

Watching fans walk through our doors today to meet someone they’ve looked up to for decades has been incredibly special. We’re truly humbled to have Mark and his family here with us today and grateful to be a small part of bringing these moments to life.

This Saturday is going to be a pretty special at The CAKE Theatre!!

During our Recycled Percussion shows at The CAKE Theatre in Laconia, NH, my longtime hero, NASCAR legend Mark Martin, will be joining us all day for a book signing of his brand-new book, Never Lift.

Mark is a true legend of the sport. He was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2017 after an incredible career that earned him the respect of fans, drivers, and just about everyone who had the opportunity to race alongside him.

But beyond everything he accomplished behind the wheel, Mark is genuinely one of the nicest human beings on the planet. I’ve looked up to him for a long time, and to have him spending the day with us at our venue is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Come meet the legend, grab a copy of his new book, get it signed, and stick around for one of our shows. This is going to be a really special day in Laconia.
