Meg Rodgers, Harpist

Meg Rodgers, Harpist Unforgettable and beautiful harp music for people who are passionate about quality. What do I do? I have been a professional harpist for over 20 years.

I have a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University in Harp Performance. What does that mean? It means I took a lot of lessons, practiced intensely, performed a ton, and was given a piece of paper saying as much. That is nice but meaningless without real experience. All the training in the world can’t prepare you for the real world, only experience can. I have played in countless orchestras unde

r many different conductors. I have played events for rock stars and for children ( not necessarily much of a difference there :)

I have played across the country and across the world. I have witnessed the most perfect event go off flawlessly and I have seen some major flops. What does this mean to you? It means when I am working for you, I am bringing all this experience and knowledge to your event. I can help you with planning, timing, and choosing the right music. When things don’t go exactly as planned, I can make it work anyway. I work with others behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. If that means I am setting up chairs, pinning on corsages, or tying bow ties, I do it because in the end, what matters is the event, be it a wedding, open house, reception, or concert. Making it work and look easy, that’s what I do. I am available for wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, funerals fund raisers, etc... In Southwest Michigan, Northwest Indiana, Chicago. New Buffalo, Three Oaks, St Joseph, Benton Harbor, South Haven, Stevensville, Millberg, Coloma, Watervliet, Niles, Berrien Springs, South Bend,
LaPorte, Michigan City, Kalamazoo, Baroda, Harbert. Venues such as The Blue Dress Barn, John Howard Bandshell, Millcreek , Lawton Community Center,
Shadowland, Jean Klock, Silver Beach, Rocky Gap, Veranda, Heritage Center, Palais, Morris, Fernwood, International Friendship Gardens,
Churches, Vineyards, Wineries...

The main room at Etre. There is a balcony behind me over the area I walked through in the previous reel.

When you walk through the front doors of Etre. Each wedding looks different and this one was all about color!

Very sweet Thank you. Having live harp music at a visitation is gift to the family as well as a final tribute to the deceased. I am always honored to be asked to play.

Today at the butterfly house. I kept looking up at butterflies that were landing on my harp and my music. One even flew through the strings, making me laugh.

Every love story has a rhythm, but your wedding day deserves a melody.Long after the cake is cut and the flowers fade, you will always remember the exact moment you stepped toward the aisle.
The world falls away. The space goes quiet. Then, the breathtaking notes of a live harp fill the air.
A harp does not just play music; it creates an atmosphere of pure romance.
It captures the anticipation of your guests, the tears in your partner’s eyes, and the profound joy of your first steps together as newlyweds.
From timeless classical love songs to your favorite modern pop ballad played with a delicate, ethereal twist, your ceremony will feel uniquely yours.
Give your guests chills. Give your love story the soundtrack it deserves. Let’s compose your perfect day together.
