Oubre Rodeo Company traveled over to Philadelphia, Mississippi for the Southern Professional Rodeo Association Finals. With over 10 head of bucking stock selected to the SPFR, it’s needless to say that Oubre Rodeo was well represented!! The first round was an instant classic with 1st place in all three roughstock events being won aboard Oubre Rodeo Company’s bucking stock. In the Ba****ck Riding Luke Thrash rode the 2023 SPRA Bucking Horse of the Year 969 Josey Wales for an amazing 85 points and the round win. Randy Samuels doubled up by riding the 2023 Co-Saddle Bronc Horse of the Year V19 Brown Bomber to win the round in the Saddle Bronc and riding 313 Geronimo for the win the Bull Riding!! Oubre Rodeo’s 520 Heat Seeker was also named SPRA Bull of the Finals. Oubre Rodeo would also also like to congratulate the Franklin, Ga rodeo for being named as Top 3 Indoor Rodeo of the Year as well as Coaling, Al being named Top 3 Outdoor Rodeo of the Year!!
