[NFS] Commissioned actual Memento Mori piece is complete. YAY!
Hand painted with professional/archival acrylics and resins. Custom hair. Custom handmade outfit of silk velvet and silk organza fabrics. Distressed wooden internal compartment with keyed lock which houses the ceramic and pewter urn. Handmade and sculpted combat boots.

While I'm waiting for some pieces to come in for my current custom pieces, I thought I'd try something new. COMMISSION WIP UPDATE :
Though I don't get to post as much as I would like as these fine art pieces take considerable time, an update on my Victorian Gothic inspired TRUE Momento Mori piece.

This is the second commission of this kind I have been honored to create.

Once the doll (urn) is complete, I will install a compartment within the chest to house the ashes.

Putting these in grouping-handpainted, flesh coating applied and cured, finished the stockings and now working on these adorable Ouji Shorts.

Material is a beautiful blue and black Silk Velvet and silk organza frill. Hope to have the shorts done by the first part of the week ❤️🖤

CUSTOM WIP UPDATE....Jeepers Creepers look at those Peepers! Moving on to the custom outfit. Hair will come later on this one.

CUSTOM WIP UPDATE:
As I'm waiting for the eyes to come in, I wanted to get the finishing touches done on this little gal. All my pieces talk to me in a way that tells me how they want to look. She's hard-headed to be sure but we are finally there ❤️ I wish these pictures could do her justice, she's ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!!!

CUSTOM WIP UPDATE: After a week of being out of commission. I'm back and busy in the studio. Arms and legs done. Now working on her beautiful mug! ❤️ I'm very pleased and just a few more layers to go!!! YAY!

*CUSTOM COMMISSION*-AUTHENTIC MEMENTO MORI PIECE.
I'll be starting on a new commissioned peice very soon. The supplies are starting to arrive. I can't describe both how honored I am to do this project but also how beautiful these new fabrics are. So far the black and Lapis blue silk velvets have arrived; along with the black silk gossamer. These photos just doesn't do them justice. 👏
