Dolly Parton Chibi Belly Dance Illustration

My tribute artwork to this beautiful soul, who is now singing in heaven. This loss hit me hard. She was so beautiful inside and out and always seemed so full of love. Over the past couple of days, it’s been plain to see just how much she meant to so many people.

Dolly had such a strong belief in doing what you love, following your dreams, and never being afraid to fail in life. That is something I have always admired about her.

Her love of glitter, rhinestones, and jewelry is definitely something she shared with so many of us fellow belly dancers.

So, over the past two days, while my parents were at appointments, I took out my digital art pad and created my own belly dance version of Dolly Parton.

I did have to use a little clip art for her boots because, well... I’m not good at drawing shoes!

We love you, Dolly. Keep shining, sparkling, and singing.

Now it’s time for me to go watch Steel Magnolias for about the 600th time.
