Welp... we didn't open the stand today mainly because mom and I were doing hive checks early this morning 🐝🐝🐝 Needless to say we have at least 2 pretty aggressive hives and it is mental preparation... 🫪. We did harvest a few frames of beautiful honey to last us through the next few months. Our goal is to get our hives growing and healthy into next year to be able to sell in small quantities.

And!!! Prickly Pear season is upon us!!! For those that have been with us a while, you know this is a family tradition 🌵 starting with my cousin in South Carolina and we are continuing here in La Vernia.

We gave our first harvest to the birds, now it's our turn 🙌 We picked a few that were ready and we will be out checking every few days into August. If you have Prickly Pears on your property and willing to share, we would love to come pick a few! Maybe exchange for a jar of jelly 😃

Thank you to everyone for supporting our little homestead and farm stand. We will be back open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday 💙

🥧 NEW! Not Your Grandma's British Scones are a triple berry scones with a sweet drizzle icing. These are definitely not cute British scones, but rather a scones gone rouge ⛓️‍💥 No tax on tea with this pastry!

🥨 NEW! We the People: Salty & Sweet Pretzel Bites. These sourdough pretzel bites are the best of both worlds Because freedom means you dont have to choose!

🌳 We brought our Spiced Candied Pecans back! Small batch, but will be restocked again tomorrow. We do have FREE SAMPLES available if you are wanting to try them first!

I know this is a pretty late post for the day, but we wanted to let everyone know we are closed today.

What an absolute blessing to say that we were officially sold out of almost everything by yesterday afternoon 🥰 From all of our baked goods to, bath salts, scrunchies and more! Obviously we have some stocking up to do!

As I'm making my shopping and prep list for the stand this week, we just wanted to say thank you so much to our amazing community for supporting our little homestead.

This week is going to amazing! New month, 4th of July 🇺🇸 weekend and so many new goodies! We will share more over the next two days letting everyone know what to expect.

We will be open Wed-Sun, and on the 4th! Be safe, never forget the Lord loves you wants every good thing for you!

P.S. Meet the goat crew! Indy (whose first birthday will be on the 4th!), Mini, Wendy, Chocolate, Bunny and Cantaloupe! They decided to come check out the front pasture today 🐐

Reminder we have fresh milled flour available on request. We do not keep on shelf or in the stand. Every order is milled fresh and ready shortly before pick up 💙

Candied Pecans are AMAZING! They do not contain egg whites, so they are great for those with egg allergies 😋

Relaxing bath salts were a new addition this week. Epsom salt, Himalayan Salt, baking soda with essential oils such as lavender, eucalyptus and peppermint to help relax 😌

Pauly's Chocolate Chip Cookies are stocked in the cooler. No eggs or milk, chewy and delicious!

We will have a few traditional mini loaves will be available this afternoon. All loaves are sliced and ready to eat on pick up 💙💙
