Stage 212 is the Illinois Valley's community theater and regularly presents a full season of 4 productions a year.

Angel Sales begin next week for THE SHARK IS BROKEN! Our Angels receive first choice of seating at a discounted rate, as well as acknowledgement in our program. You can become an Angel for our 2027 Season by purchasing at least 2 season passes and leaving a donation of at least $40. And be sure to get your tickets for THE SHARK IS BROKEN, which go on sale to the public on November 2nd.

THE SHARK IS BROKEN
Angel and Season Pass Holder sales for THE SHARK IS BROKEN will begin on October 19th and October 26th, with tickets being on sale to the public on November 2nd! Don't miss out on our Fall 2026 production!

BRINGING TALENT HOME
Tickets are on sale now for this one night only display of outstanding local talent that we are bringing back to the area! Please note that this performance will be at LP High School. Tickets that are held at the box office should be picked up at LP.

NUNCRACKERS
Rounding out the year, we have our Christmas 2026 production to benefit our new marquee, NUNCRACKERS! Tickets will be on sale to the public starting November 9th, but Angels and Season Pass Holders will receive early access to tickets on October 19th!

Our final workshop of 2026 sold out today, so we're opening up FIVE MORE SPOTS! Get them while they last! Since INSPIRED BY HOCUS POCUS is only one week away, it's time to Meet the Instructor!

Andrea Moell has been seen at Stage 212, with previous credits including THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, PUFFS, and BACK TO THE 80'S. She has also been seen onstage at IVCC. We are so thrilled to have her rounding out our 2026 Workshops!

To celebrate our 2027 Season, we're shining a light on the directors that will be bringing these productions to the stage! Next fall, Forrest Boes brings the heart-warming comedy, THE CURIOUS SAVAGE. After appearing in several shows, including our upcoming 2026 Fall Production, THE SHARK IS BROKEN, Forrest is making his Stage 212 directorial debut! We're know that this title, which shares the need for connection and what it means to be truly wise, will be a great way to wrap up our season.

To celebrate our 2027 Season, we're shining a light on the directors that will be bringing these productions to the stage! Next summer, Ashley Hurst takes us to Arendelle with Disney's FROZEN. Ashley returns to Stage 212 after directing our 2025 production of TARZAN, and appearing in several shows. Come experience the magic as Ashley takes us on a journey of courage, self-acceptance, and love in every form.

MEET THE DIRECTOR

To celebrate our 2027 Season, we're shining a light on the directors that will be bringing these productions to the stage! Next spring, Ellen Marincic brings a familiar story, that you may not have known was a play, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE. Ellen is a veteran director at Stage 212, her most recent show being our 2025 production of THE MIRACLE WORKER. She has also been seen onstage in many productions. We are so excited to have Ellen back for our 2027 Season with a title that explores the meaning of love, mortality, and a life well-lived.

The cast and crew of THE SHARK IS BROKEN is busy bringing the Orca to Stage 212! Set in the cramped cabin of a stalled film set, The Shark is Broken takes place during the troubled filming of Jaws in 1974, where actors Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, and Roy Scheider are confined to their boat between endless production delays.

MEET THE DIRECTOR

Next winter, Monika Sudakov will be transporting audiences to Anatevka with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. While Monika has been seen onstage several times, this production will be her directorial debut at Stage 212! We are thrilled to have Monika kick off our 2027 Season with this classic story that celebrates life, love, and tradition
