We strive to provide a space for artists to show, and sell, their work. We aim to exhibit artists both well established in their careers, as well as those just starting out on their creative venture. Our focus alw

ays begins at home, on Madeline Island, and the greater Chequamegon Bay area, but with many people visiting or being partial year round residents, we often end up displaying work of artists from many places around the country. Our front gallery room features 2-3 week long shows, which rotate throughout our "season", which is May-October. We host artists receptions many Saturdays throughout the summer, a great opportunity to meet the artists, and chat with our wonderful board of Directors (the glue behind our gallery) . The 'Back Door Gallery' features a more permanent collection of artists from the area and their work. In the Back Door Gallery, you can find: handmade greeting cards, a wide assortment of fine handmade jewelry, hand knit hats, hand screen printed clothing, gifts for children & babies, ceramics, paintings & so many other wonderful handmade items. We do not purchase any of the items we sell, everything is made by artisans and sold to benefit them. Don't miss our sweet little gallery next time you are in the Apostle Islands area.
