A behind-the-scenes look at the process behind my neoprene/vinyl parrot fish/leopard shark tail...and others in the future to come, I'm sure! It took 6 months constant work sewing by hand and painstakingly painting each 3D scale on. (I did not have a machine that could stitch through neoprene at the time). I also had to hand-stitch through the plastic vinyl of my dorsal fin and tether that to the 3mm neoprene. Lots of bad finger pricks! :P
