Better late than never... we have some exciting news to share!

A couple of weeks ago, Plaza Block was honored with the Citizens State Bank Award at Colorado Preservation, Inc.'s 42nd Annual Dana Crawford Awards Dinner. We are so grateful to CPI for this recognition and to everyone who has believed in this building and this community from the beginning.

We are proud to be part of a statewide network of people who care deeply about preserving the places that tell our history.

The 2026 Arkansas Valley Summer Brew Fest happens June 12 at Santa Fe Plaza, and we’re still looking for a few more pourers to help bring the night to life.

It’s simple: you pour, you enjoy the energy, and you help keep one of La Junta’s biggest summer events running smoothly.

Volunteer perks include a discounted ticket and time to enjoy the music, food trucks, and atmosphere after your shift.

It’s a wander, taste, talk, and try-something-new kind of night.

2026 Arkansas Valley Summer Brew Fest returns June 12 to Santa Fe Plaza from 6–10 p.m.

For $30, you’ll get a tasting mug on a lanyard and wristband, then the evening is yours Move between tables, sample different pours, grab food from local trucks, and settle in for music from Kenny Arguello as the night unfolds.

21+ only. Bring ID. Come ready to explore.
