Had the honor of tattooing an awesome client, Sal! 🍷
His love for wine inspired this piece, he chose the wine logo from his hometown and had it tattooed on his hand. For him, it represents hard work, dedication, and where he comes from.

Sal drove four hours to get tattooed by me and sat like an absolute champ through the entire session. I’m incredibly grateful for his support and the trust he placed in me to bring this tattoo to life.

“Hello! I’m Jesse. I’ve been following Forest Souls Tattoo for a long time and originally reached out when Brenna was based in San Diego. I’m from Northern California, so I waited a bit and later found out she had moved back up to Roseville, only about four hours away from me.
I booked three full days of tattoo sessions and hit the road to make it happen.
I love my dogs deeply, and you’ll see them honored in this piece along my side. I’m also a huge sci-fi fan—Star Trek and Star Wars have always been part of my world. I’ve been envisioning this half-sleeve for years, and now it’s finally coming to life. Brenna, you rock!”

Highlights of the pieces include:�• Two Portraits of his dogs (one reimagined in a Captain Kirk-inspired concept) on his ribs�• (STILL IN PROGRESS) Star Wars / Star Trek spacecraft elements - will cover up an old tattoo with the space background on his arm. �• Customized one of a kind planet.

Guess what? Today’s my birthday. 🎉
Of course, I had to spend some time exploring the forest and reconnecting with the place where I feel most at peace , reflecting on my life, my journey, and everything along the way.

As a tattoo artist, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing souls like you guys, and I’m beyond grateful to still be here, alive and able to continue serving you through art. Listening to your journeys, hearing your stories, and connecting with you on a deeper level has meant more to me than words can express.
I just wanted to take a moment to show my appreciation and share how grateful I am to be on this journey with all of you.

🌸 I had the honor of working with two truly wonderful clients, Cathy and Carly, a mother-daughter duo that shared such special and meaningful stories behind their tattoos. 💖

First up, Carly shared the deep connection to lilacs, a flower that always reminded her of her mom. “The meanings behind the flower that reminds me of my mom—I remember going out of our way to pick lilacs! And of course, our family has grown up using 🤟🏼” (as you can spot a few ILY symbols around the flower). 🌸💫 Such a beautiful tribute to family, love, and the bond that lasts forever.

Then Cathy shared the significance of her hummingbird tattoo: “The hummingbird symbolizes the mama bird that nested out my front window shortly after my own Mama passed away. The wing missing a feather reminds me that we are all imperfect and beautiful. The lilac to match my daughter’s and our shared experiences.” 🕊️💜 A stunning reflection of life, loss, and love intertwined.

Had such a fun time tattooing this piece, my rad client brought in a design he loved and asked me to tweak it a bit to fit him just right 🙌
Not my original artwork, but I really appreciated the chance to bring it to life for him.
It’s a sweet tribute to the love he has for his cats, which made it even more special. Thanks for the trust, keep shining ✨

Laughing with my clients is one of my favorite parts of what I do. This piece was especially meaningful, the client wanted a custom design that captured the bond between him and his twin-flame best friend. A matching tattoo, uniquely interpreted in their own style. I incorporated a carnation flower with a flame to reflect that connection and energy.
