Fayette County Fair

Today was a big day for our Pageant contestants and current court. Personal interviews were conducted for all divisions and welcome bags were prepared for our parade participants on Saturday.
Our Queen and Jr Miss court members and contestants also judged our first ever Coloring Contest. We were blown away, receiving 254 entries from children across the county…we are so proud and cannot wait to share our winners on Thursday evening at the Pageant.

Our court fulfilled some of their last duties at our kickoff weekend! It was a fun filled day from heifers to cars to bbq! Congratulations to all the winners…tomorrow we welcome our current contestants for interviews and a social along with the bucket calf show!

The Fayette County Fair BBQ Cook Off for 2026 was a big success. The Grand
Champion team was headed by Brock Otto. The Reserve Champion team was headed by David Tofel. The Third Place team was headed by Pascho Segura. All of the kids that entered in Kids Q did a great job. The top 3 winners were, 1st place - Shelby Janacek, 2nd place - Lillian Tofel and 3rd place - Aubrey McCullough.
