About me:

My name is Melissa Gomes and I am a wife to an amazing husband and a momma of three! We have two adopted kiddos and one baby waiting for us in heaven. We live on a beautiful farm where I homeschool the kids and have amazing adventures. I have a Bachelor's degree in Art with and emphasis in photography and drawing and a Master's degree in Elementary Education, both from EOU. Before ph

otography I was a elementary teacher in Managua, Nicaragua and in Eastern Oregon. Photography is so important to me and I love documenting my families many milestones and yours as well! We built an amazing studio right here on the farm that is absolutely perfect for newborn photography. Whether you choose an on location session or a studio session we will have fun, create memories and document this special time in your life! I'm Eastern Oregon's newborn photographer!

I sure do LOVE my beautiful studio! It's just makes me happy. I open the doors in the morning before a session and my heart is just content looking at all the props, folding fabric layers and just enjoying the stillness. This family was so gorgeous and lifestyle sessions are so much fun. Adding family is always a bonus and you can capture so many fun, memorable moments! I did a variety of b&w, because honestly, I couldn't decide if I liked color or b&w better with these.
