The Children's Program at the La Crosse Storytelling Festival is FREE to all. Doors open at 11:00, show starts at 11:30. Internationally known storyteller Charlotte Blake Alston will share stories, Hans Mayer will sing and get you rocking, and Lori Portner has activities for the kids to get them telling their own stories. All this at the Pump House!! See you there.

The La Crosse Storytelling Festival's third featured teller is Jim May, an Emmy winning storyteller, teacher and author. Jim grew up in a rural area of Illinois listening to stories and he brings that rich history to the stories that he tells. Jim has performed all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Jim will also be conducting a workshop on telling personal stories this Saturday afternoon. And he will be on our Sara Slayton Stage both Friday and Saturday night. So, come to the Fest!

La Crosse Storytelling Festival!!!! It's coming! On July 18 and 19. Charlotte Blake Alston will be one of our featured evening performers and also share stories at the FREE Children's Program on Saturday. Charlotte is an internationally known teller. She has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Smithsonian Institution, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and in 2021 was named the Philadelphia Orchestra’s Official Storyteller, Narrator and Host. How could you miss hearing Charlotte!! Tickets are available at the Pump House.
