Hey Art Heroes! The community is rising up once again—and this time it’s for a cause that hits close to my heart. Thanks to Al’s Musky Challenge, local youth organizations are getting a major boost—including OUR very own La Crosse Community Theatre! 🎭

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the 7 Rivers Region , GROW La Crosse and LCT are teaming up to help kids grow in all kinds of ways: confidence, creativity, healthy living, and more. Your donation through the Musky Challenge supports all three—making every dollar stretch further for youth in our region.

🦸‍♂️🎭 TheatreMan Mission Report: Community Heroes Assembled!

Citizens of the Coulee Region,

When the Penguin Project faced unexpected challenges due to the withdrawal of federal funding, our community didn't hesitate to leap into action. Your unwavering support ensured that "The Big Bad Musical" will shine on stage, and even secured funding for next year's production!

This outpouring of generosity means that our young artists with developmental disabilities and special needs will continue to experience the joy and empowerment of theatre. Your contributions have provided costumes, sets, accessibility tools, and the mentorship that makes this program so impactful.

As TheatreMan, I salute each and every one of you—our true art heroes. Your actions exemplify the power of community and the importance of arts education.

From stealing scenes as the Artful Dodger in La Crosse Community Theatre’s Oliver! (pictured here) to stealing audiences’ hearts at the Sidekick Audition Showdown, Kieralynn Tupper has proven she has the talent, spirit, and creativity it takes to join the Art Hero Super Team!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Kieralynn as Theatreman’s first-ever sidekick, ready to help champion arts education and inspire the next generation of heroes. 🎭✨

The adventure is just beginning—you have two more days to support Theatreman's bid to win the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra Conductor Wannabe competition, now with his sidekick, Kiera!

🦸‍♂️🗞️ Theatreman’s Sidekick Audition Showdown Hits the News!

What an incredible night at the LEAP Center—full of talent, heart, and heroic spirit!

We’re thrilled to share that the Sidekick Audition Showdown made headlines, celebrating a successful night of raising funds for Theatreman’s Conductor Wannabe campaign in support of La Crosse Symphony Orchestra and La Crosse Community Theatre’s Altra Star Academy.
A big thank to you Greg Parmeter, Stacy Schlaf Bruemmer, and Dustin Luecke for being our guest judges.

And the biggest cheer goes to Kieralynn Tupper, who rose to the challenge and was named Theatreman’s official sidekick!

Thank you to everyone who performed, donated, judged, cheered, and made the night unforgettable. Together, we’re building a future where the arts soar higher than ever!

TheatreMan's Sidekick Auditions are this Saturday! In addition to more potential sidekicks, we're also looking for audience members to come cheer them on! Audience members and donors will "vote" (via donations) to determine who has what it takes to become Theatreman’s official sidekick, all while raising funds for arts education and Theatreman’s Conductor Wannabe Campaign!
This night will feature the main event of Sidekick Auditions, performances by local "Super Friends", a Superhero Costume Contest, and refreshments!
Post-show, attendees can mingle, take photos with Theatreman, and make any final donations to Theatreman and his new sidekick!

Today, Theatreman is taking a break from sidekick scouting and rooftop monologuing to say a super-powered THANK YOU to the amazing supporters who have already joined the mission!

Your votes, donations, and belief in the power of arts education are what keep his cape flying and his cause alive.
