All this month - Wednesday thru Saturday at 7:30pm - Meet at the Friendship Gardens in Riverside Park - No reservations needed-
$15 per person, Tour lasts an hour and :10 and the distance is just under 1 mile

Join us for a spooky exploration of historic downtown La Crosse and allow us to introduce you to some residents who simply refuse to leave. Bartenders, restaurateurs and great lovers of the theater will be among the ghostly city dwellers you will hear about.

In Ojibwe culture, winter is storytelling season. The Wisconsin Historical Society is celebrating that by featuring Ojibwe storytellers in a four-part virtual series every Tuesday evening from Jan. 25 - Feb.15, 2022.

The first session will be on January 25th at 7pm. Join a webinar with Native American storyteller and poet Michael Laughing Fox Charette. Michael, a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa (located in Northern Wisconsin), engages and delights diverse audiences with poetry, flute, drum, and storytelling performances that weave Indigenous teachings into a modern day context. His strong respect for all cultures resonates in his performances.

Cost: Free and open to the public.
Advance registration is required by noon on Jan. 25.
