I have a small quantity of greeting cards still available. Message me if you are interested in purchasing.

A few small collections were created for the initial release of these hand painted greeting cards and they have sold well. It makes me happy that people still like to send a hand written, personalized message.

Purchased from me directly they are $10 each or 4 for $45. Bulk discounts will not be available via galleries.

It’s been a couple weeks since the Bluff Country Studio Art Tour. I haven’t painted since then, I needed a physical and mental break… plus it’s spring and that means I’m busy in the garden !!

Despite not painting, I have spent much time reflecting and in contemplation about the wonderful people I met and chatted with over the three days.

I cannot express just how grateful I am to each of you that stopped and made time to connect with me, my art, my personal space and more.

Every painting seems to go to the right person.

Sometimes it can take a while for a piece to find its owner. It may take awhile for the right person to come along or a collector has fallen in love but takes some time to ponder the purchase.

This piece however, was displayed for the first time in April and sold within 2 days.

What makes it even better… the couple who purchased it had an instant connection with the piece and they didn’t even come looking for art!!

They simple saw my ‘art tour’ signs, drove up the road and introduced themselves. They are almost neighbors of mine that I just hadn’t met yet in the 10ish years I’ve lived in this small town.

Even better… they live on the Waters Edge.

I recently experimented with creating painted paper bookmarks. The first few batches I used paper scraps and played with the size of the art.

I had some epic fails and some welcomed success. The few that made the cut were available to purchase during my recent Open Studio.

Surprisingly to me, they sold well and I got some great feedback… thank you. If you have one and choose to use it, please let me know how it holds up!

A new and improved, second edition will be created sometime soon. But before that, I’ve got some larger pieces to get working on…. After a winter working small, I’m feeling to urge to go big!!!

The bluffs around my home have transformed into a green wonderland.. It’s exhilarating after months of browns and whites. Visually I love winter, but my souls sure is happy when the ground thaws out and I get to dig in the spring soil, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Thank you.

I end the long three day weekend with a smile.
I feel loved and supported by friends.
Honored to have returning collectors.
Humbled to have touched the hearts of new collectors.
Inspired by the other artists that came and shared their work and stories.
Grateful for those that came to look and take a moment to appreciate art.

I have woken feeling grateful for all the wonderful visitors I got to meet yesterday during my open studio.

So many conversations and connections of greatness!!

Tears, laughter and heart felt hugs shared.

I’ve enjoyed every meeting and moment so far.
Sharing my techniques and methods with cold wax and oil paint has been fun too. The small pieces I worked on were inspired by the trees seen through my studio window. Gentle blue skies, tree trunks criss crossing catching the spring sun light.

Today - Sunday April 26th - is the last day of the Bluff Country Studio Art Tour .10am - 5pm
