🎉 ACQUAINT YOURSELF WITH LA CONNER IS BACK! 🎉

Ready to discover something new in La Conner?

From **June 27 through August 1**, residents, Shelter Bay neighbors, and visitors are invited to participate in the **Acquaint Yourself with La Conner** promotion. Explore local businesses, collect stamps, and enter for a chance to win a fantastic basket donated by our local business community!

📍 **Pick up your Acquaint Yourself with La Conner card on Saturday, June 27, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Gilkey Square** or at any participating merchant throughout the promotion.

As you visit shops, restaurants, galleries, lodging properties, and other businesses, you'll collect stamps and discover all the unique experiences that make La Conner such a special destination.

📅 Promotion Runs: June 27 – August 1, 2026
🎟️ Collect stamps and complete your card for a chance to win prizes!
🚗 Prize Drawing: August 1 during the La Conner Classic Boat & Car Show

🎬🔎 The Mystery Begins Tomorrow in La Conner!

Step back to 1931 Hollywood as the La Conner Murder Mystery: The Silver Screen Slayer unfolds across our historic waterfront town this weekend. A movie crew has come to La Conner to film one of the new “talkies,” but when the director is found dead… it’s up to YOU to solve the crime.

🕵️ Saturday – Investigation Begins
🕛 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Check in at the La Conner Chamber of Commerce
210 Morris St

Pick up your clue map and investigation materials, explore town, question suspects, and gather evidence. When you’ve completed your investigation, return your best guess of whodunit to the Chamber Office.

🕵️ Sunday – Last Chance to Solve the Case
🕚 Check-in begins at 11:00 AM
🕒 3:00 PM – Deadline to turn in your guesses
