Due to the weather, Worship Under the Stars has been moved indoors to the American Legion Building.

What an incredible day celebrating America’s 250th birthday at the Ballard County Fair Parade! 🇺🇸❤️💙🤍

Thank you to everyone who came out to watch, cheer, participate, volunteer, and help make today so special. We had a wonderful turnout, and it was so much fun seeing our community come together to celebrate in such a big way.

A huge thank you to all of our parade participants for the time, effort, and creativity you put into your floats and entries. Please tag your organization or business in the pictures below! ⬇️

We also want to give a special thank you to the American Legion Post #3 LaCenter Ky for providing hot dogs for our parade participants, to Citizens Deposit Bank for the delicious ice cream sundaes afterward, and to Phoenix Paper for sponsoring the prize money awarded to our parade winners. Your generosity helped make today even more special, and we are so grateful for your support of our community and this celebration.

As we celebrate the 250th Birthday of America, we're looking for Ballard County Veterans to take part in a very special honor.

This year's parade will recognize local Veterans as our Grand Marshals, and we want to make sure no one is left out!

If you or someone you know is a Veteran who lives in or is from Ballard County, please comment below or message Peggy Meriedeth with their name and contact information. ❤️🤍💙
