Happening tonight! Join us for this session with free supplies and an evening meal.

Join Jaida Grey Eagle for her Community Engagement Project at Oglala Lakota Artspace. This project centers on research with Lakota elders to deepen understanding of local plants and the reciprocal relationships we hold with them as Lakota people. 🌿☀️

Using sunlight to create photographic prints of local plants, Jaida will work alongside community members to research and document plant medicines while contributing to a collaborative star quilt that serves as both an artistic work and a living record of plant knowledge. Rooted in storytelling, cultural connection, and Lakota values, this project invites participants to reflect, create, and engage through nature-centered art practices.
