This time only two of the four singers visible in the video. They are from our "Vocal Ensemble" class where we did small break-out groups; more projects from that course will be posted here in the coming days.

A Zoom-page-worth of students from University Choir, those who have (and were willing to turn on) cameras from our final group 'rehearsal'. Expressing a range of emotions from "hello missing audience" to "stiff upper lip" to "this is not what we signed up for".

We are sad not to sing Beethoven, Chilcott's Jazz Mass, MacMillan, and Schubert for you this term in person. But we are working on a short virtual choir project. Watch this space later in May.

At the end of term, we are sad to be missing our concert. Reaching out to our audience, the students of the Vocal Ensemble say "hello" "we miss you" and "thanks for your support". We hope we will sing for you another term.

Thanks to Dr. Robin Bier for stopping by to coach us on our German diction today. Excited to be working on the Beethoven Choral Fantasy in this big anniversary year of the composer!

This piece is for the KU Chamber Players' concert on Monday evening, April 20 at 7:30pm in Schaeffer Auditorium. Save the date for such a grand finale!

(note: the Choral Concert itself will not contain the Beethoven, but is worth saving also: April 25, 7:30pm, Georgian Room).
