Macario Pascual‘s ability to capture the dramatic lighting that day is a beautiful example of the magic of plein air painting.

Pascual is one of the Featured Artists for Paint Maui Plein Air Invitational 2025. Watch him work and take one of his iconic pieces home with you this February.

You can view Pascual’s work at when the newest location opens in Lahaina, coming soon! Also at the Hawaii State Museum, State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and City and County of Honolulu. Other corporate and private collections include Alexander and Baldwin, Inc., Baldwin Pacific Corporation, Fletcher Pacific Construction, Ihilani Resorts, Malcolm MacNaughton (former CEO of Castle and Cooke), and many others here in the islands and across the globe.
