As our voices echo with the final notes of our last concert, a bittersweet melody fills the air. This was more than just a performance; it was passion, dedication, and sheer love that binds us together. It also marks the end of an era, as we say our goodbyes to our Choir Director, Mr. Lee Fortner.
Mr. Fortner, your presence has been a guiding light, a source of inspiration, and a foundational pillar of this choir for so long. You've done so much for us, shaping us not just as singers, but as individuals. Your unwavering commitment, deep understanding of music, and ability to draw out the very best in each of us has created something truly special.
We're going to miss you more than words can express. The hallways, rehearsals, and every stage we grace will feel a little emptier without your direction, wisdom, and infectious enthusiasm. You've taught us the power of harmony, the importance of listening, and the joy of creating music together. These lessons extend far beyond the music room, shaping our character and outlook on life.
