First Friday Kokomo On select Fridays in 2025, the community
will gather for an arts-based, open house tour of downtown Kokomo The first Friday of every month from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

So, we just got off the phone with the organizers of the Strawberry Festival. We're so excited that they have one more vendor spot available for sale! This is our lucky day! Oh wait. THEY'RE SCAMMERS!! Every year with this garbage! And this year they've gone so far as to create their own Facebook event pages! So, please be careful who you're talking to. And regardless of what their bogus event pages say, the festival is this Friday only from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. And it's sold out for vendors!

And, if we can pull enough strings, you'll see those scammers in the dunk tank on Friday!!

A friendly Strawberry Festival parking reminder:

Buuuuuttttttt ..... If you're planning to park in the lot across from the Central Middle School, don't. We're sharing the day with the Kokomo High School graduation and they'll need those spots. We know the shortcakes are tempting, but probably not tempting enough to explain to a graduate's grandma why you took her parking spot.

So check out the other available lots and give a big ole shout-out to any of the graduates you're lucky enough to see! Way to go, Class of 2026!
