will gather for an arts-based, open house tour of downtown Kokomo The first Friday of every month from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Head downtown from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for Get Schooled First Friday. Spend the evening exploring local businesses, connecting with community organizations, enjoying art, and discovering something new along the way.

If you're not ready to head home at 8 p.m., stick around for First Friday After Hours as select downtown businesses and venues keep the evening going with expanded offerings and entertainment for guests 21 and older.

More than 40 participating groups will be out from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, with everything from art and crafts to games, food, giveaways, health resources, school supplies and activities for the kids.
