A summer sculpture class at Indiana University Kokomo pushes the boundaries of art, utilizing metal, welding torches, and paint to share a message about the importance of the college experience.

Artists Gregory Steel, Cybil Johnson, and Jimmy Murphy gathered with NMAT faculty and students for the installation of the sculpture, "Victory Unchained" today between the Kelley Student Center and Hunt Hall.

We know it's late, but we couldn't wait to share this. We love how our building looks at night and can not wait for this project to be finished. Starting Monday, the construction crew will be out to complete the parking lot and drive-thru area. We hope to be open by November 1st and, worst-case scenario, December 1st. We will keep everyone updated, and we appreciate the support!
