This isn’t a badly done AI image of a horse.
It’s a real horse — inside the slaughter holding facility — getting ready to load for Canadian slaughter.
She’s some sort of saddlebred type.
But the worst news of all? The note she came with says she was exposed to a Belgian stallion.
Yes… she could be pregnant. Lord I hope she’s not.
What lunatic in their right mind would breed a badly deformed horse? But worse of all to a DRAFT horse?
The quarantine truck is here and there is a LOT of room on it. We can add at least six more.
Can we get this girls freedom ride so she can see a much needed veterinarian?
I know some people won’t want to save her because she’s different…
But different isn’t always bad.
Let’s show her we believe that.
