Christopher Huggins will be our second Guest Artist this summer, teaching from June 22nd through the 26th. Huggins will be teaching the Masterclasses in the mornings Monday through Friday 9-11 AM, as well as Intermediate Jazz and Intermediate Modern on Tuesday, June 23rd, and Advanced Jazz and Advanced Modern on Thursday, June 25th.

✨MEET OUR SPRING 2026 TEACHERS✨
We have NINE excellent teachers at Dancers Studio, and there is less than ONE WEEK until “An Evening of Dance” at the Clarence Brown Theatre on May 14th, 15th, and 16th. Each teacher you learn about means we are one week closer to our annual performance!

This is Ms. Irena Linn ~ Ms. Linn is the Owner of Dancers Studio, the Founding Director of Ignite! Dance Company, and one of the most influential people you will ever meet. Ms. Linn’s classical and educational approach to teaching children dance has fundamentally shaped generations of dancers and audience members all over the world. Her precise, delicate, and clear way of teaching children the art of dance will forever impact the way all of our teachers teach dance, and for anyone who has had the honor to take class from her, you will know that is true.

In lieu of Ms. Linn’s endless inspiration and dedication to so many dancers, we also want to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day — for being someone in our lives that cares about us and drives us forward.

TCDE dancers and friends of Monique McMillan Fisher

Monique's Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 16th at 1:00pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 6900 Kingston Pike, 5 minutes Dancers Studio and across from Arby's. There will be an informal reception afterwards.

This is the Saturday where we have two Evening of Dance performances. We have already moved our awards ceremony for the Silver Dancers to 8:45pm so as to not coincide with Monique's service and allow people to attend both if they choose.

Our “An Evening of Dance” Performances are less than one week away!✨
Our annual performance showcases the artistic potential of children: through discipline and plenty of dedication, the dancers will perform a 60 minute dance performance with no intermission at the Clarence Brown Theatre.
Children are the future, and each dance displays the power and intelligence that children hold.✨

Meet Patricia Roberson ~ Our incredibly groovy and talented Tap teacher! Ms. Patricia is a ‘Jill-of-all-trades’ - from teaching to being a mother of three kids, she does it all. Ms. Patricia teaches a constructive and deliberate tap class that harps on the importance of rhythm in every aspect of dance. We are so grateful to have Ms. Patricia on our team!🫶
