🍂 IT'S OFFICIALLY FALL, Y'ALL! 🍂

Knox County is on Fall Break, which means we're calling it...
Fall is officially HERE! 🎃🍁

It's time for pumpkin patches, hayrides, Halloween parties, football Saturdays, cooler evenings and all the things we love about this time of year in East Tennessee. 🧡

And while we're at it... why not plan a little fall fun of your own?

There are still dates available in November and December for holiday parties, company celebrations, family gatherings and all the reasons we find to celebrate as the year comes to an end. 🥂

But those dates won't last long, so if you've been thinking about planning an event before the end of the year, now is the time to get it on the calendar.

💙 A little behind the scenes — Did You Know info 💙

Most rentals at the Sunsphere include 5½ hours:

✨ 2 hours for setup • 3 hours for your event • 30 minutes for cleanup

But let's talk about that setup time... because those 2 hours are really only part of the story.

Those two hours are primarily for your vendors — most often your catering and bartending teams — to come in and prepare for your event.

But there's a whole lot that happens outside of those two hours that most people never know about or see. 👀

Long before your caterer arrives or the bar is being set up, we're already working behind the scenes to get the Sunsphere ready for you.

And that starts with our very own Josh McClure. 💛

Josh is the one making sure our event spaces are cleaned, reset and ready for the next celebration. He's waxing floors, touching up paint, checking all the little details and, yes... even folding the ends of the toilet paper. 😂

They're the kinds of things you probably won't notice when you walk in — but that's because they're already done.

Then the rest of our team gets to work.

If you rent linens through us — which makes things SO much easier for you 😉 — we pick them up, make sure they're ready, get them out for your event and return them afterward. One less thing for you to worry about!

And if there's a problem with the linens? You'll almost NEVER know — because we've already taken care of it! 😉

Then your vendors arrive and the room really starts coming together. Our friends at Rosa's Catering, bartenders and other vendors are working alongside our team — food and bar areas are being prepared, equipment is being checked and dozens of little details are falling into place.

Those 2 hours of setup? A LOT happens.

But there's also a whole lot of work that happened before those 2 hours ever started. 💛

That's the part most people never see.

By the time the elevator doors open and your guests begin arriving, our goal is for you to walk into the room and simply feel like everything is ready. ✨

You see the finished event. We see all the people, preparation and little details it took to get it there.

Because one event is never just one event.

Every little detail has been planned, carefully placed and expertly put into motion — long before the first guest ever walks through the door. 💛

And that's part of what makes celebrating at the Sunsphere so special — having an experienced event team behind the scenes helping bring it all together.

💗 SUNNY’S ADVENTURES 💗

Okay... Sunny knows she's been a little quiet lately. 😂☀️

But don't worry -she hasn't been sitting around!

She's been out and about exploring our beautiful city, getting ready for a busy season of fall events at the Sunsphere, and making a few stops around Knoxville along the way. 💛

Most recently, Sunny got to hang out at Visit Knoxville's Block Party - and you KNOW our girl wasn't going to miss a party. 😉🎉

And you might even spot Visit Knoxville's President- Kim Bumpas hanging out with Sunny! ☀️💗 We love getting out and spending time with the people who make Knoxville such a special place.

Between football season, fall events, exploring Knoxville, and all the fun happening around town, Sunny has been BUSY!

She's got plenty more adventures coming, and we can't wait to take you along. ☀️💗

And since it's GAME DAY in Knoxville...

And they each offer a completely different experience.

💛 THE 8TH FLOOR
Our more intimate event space - and here's a fun fact: it is literally at the TOP of the Sunsphere! With room for up to 80 seated guests and approximately 300° views, there's something pretty special about saying you celebrated at the top of one of Knoxville's most iconic landmarks.

💛 THE 6TH FLOOR
Our large and in charge floor. 😉 With room for up to 180 seated guests and 360° views, you can look out over just about every angle of our beautiful city and the Smoky Mountains.

Is it beautiful in the fall? 🍂 Oh, yes.
Winter? ❄️ Absolutely.
Spring and summer? 🌸☀️ You bet.

Let's face it - our beautiful Sunsphere really doesn't have a bad angle. 💛

It's football season in Knoxville, and there's just something about this time of year - the orange everywhere, the energy downtown, and a whole city ready to cheer on the Vols. 🏈

And we have to say... Rocky Top looks pretty good from up here. 😉✨
