String nation, today was a great day for our kiddos. We celebrated our traditional end-of-the-year orchestra party 🎉 with tons of snacks🍪cool beverages🥤and donuts 🍩 for all grade level students (forgot to take pictures 🙃).

And for the grand finale… the Senior Walk 😭 I have three amazing students graduating this Thursday. I am so proud of them and we will miss them so much!!! They are Taliyah, J’Ray and Jackson. It was my honor to have share the stage with such wonderful people and talented musicians. I am excited for their next journey in life. Thank you guys for your love and passion for music, for our program and our string family. Mr. Ramos loves you tons 🎻

Today, all the 5th graders from our school community visited us in KMS. They got to enjoy a small presentation from our Performance Arts department.

From the Karns Orchestra program, 7th Grade Orchestra and KHS Orchestra performed together to show off the amazing and exciting sound of the strings ensemble. 5th graders were a fantastic audience and we are excited to see them for the next school year.

This year was definitely an fantastic one full of music and performances. Well folks, today was our last performance. I am forever grateful to all of you for your constant support to our program and kiddos. We truly are a musical family!

Last Saturday we participated in the 2026 Music in the Parks competition in Dollywood and brought back home two trophies 🏆

Congratulations to our combined 6th and 7th orchestra students for winning second place 🥈 with Excellent ratings in the Middle Orchestra category.

Congratulations to our combined 8th grade orchestra and KHS orchestra students for winning second place 🥈 with Excellent ratings in the High School category.
