Love might be the only thing that makes any of this life bearable. Friends, family, pets, A PARTNER, maybe a blow-up doll 💘

In any case, If you’ve got someone or something close, may they be mildly annoyed by how adored they are during the month of love: extra PECKS🐔 maybe an unnecessary treat or two. 🥩🍫

And if you’re still searching… 🔎👁️ here’s to the quiet hope that it finds you when you least expect it, a little scruffy, a little imperfect, but exactly right. 🥃

This felt like painting a deep breath. I didn’t realize how much I needed a laugh and some dumb fun. 😂

I’ve been grinding hard, and the effort-to-reward ratio feels wildly off lately. That stuff can whittle you down if you let it.

So… DOODLE about it.

Last Halloween 🎃 this raven went viral. I didn’t expect it to resonate like it did.

I painted it during a brutal migraine episode that last for 2 months or more. DEAFENING tinnitus, TOTAL burnout. 💀

I felt trapped by something dark and I guess tried to paint my way out. I didn’t see it then, but I think the raven was meant to be me. 😅

Meet Sova 🐾

She was found as a tiny 2-month-old kitten in the Siberian forest, huddled near a dead owl,(true story) covered in parasites, fighting to survive on scraps of food. For her first month in safety, she would even growl while eating.

Her tail hints at wild blood, though her DNA test stayed inconclusive. She may be too fierce for a house cat, but she manages. 😂

Now at 10 years old, she’s still fierce, still adventurous, and living her very best life.
