The sunflower fields are open for cutting today Saturday Aug 8th and and Sunday Aug 9th starting at 10am til around 5. Just stay right at the entrance and park in the grass parking area! Walk across the bridge and you are there!!

This is a at your own risk pick.…. We have done all we can do to close all the ground hog holes… but they may open overnight! We have mowed paths through the sunflower fields for you as well.

Like previous years , we will have a donation box out.... any donations go to expanding the flower fields. We love sunflowers, and don’t want tight times being a reason for people not to enjoy their beauty. We will have additional cutting opportunities on our second planting as we get closer to Fall as well. 🙂

Bring your clippers and cameras and have a great time. Feel free to walk around and look at all the improvements happening around the Manor.

A little rain wasn’t about to keep the bride away from getting married with the fountain as the backdrop! 💧💧We were happy to have hosted! Congratulations!!!🎉🎊🎈

Just a little update on the falling down corn crib replacement! It’s getting there! More to come next week and than a revamp by Aug! Stay tuned!

Coming down the home stretch of the project season. T- 6 weeks to get things wrapped up, but you know me, going to squeeze everything I can into that time frame! 😂😂. Hoping the 2026 couples enjoy the upgrades!

Our hearts go out to the Tipon family who lost their mill yesterday to a fire. We ask if you need any boards or milling to still contact them as they are still open as they deal with this tragic loss.

A little back story. It’s a 3 generation sawmill family and they provided nearly all the wood for the bank barn, and the soon to be started corn crib reno.

The first time I met the elder Tipon he immediately had a connection to the property, because it was not the first time here. He actually worked with Mr. Miller in the 60s- early 70s who owned the property prior to the Speaks taking ownership. Mr. Tipon actually helped install the bridge that so many take picture on leading across the creek. Since than we have continued to support them for all our fencing and barn boards, posts and lumber needs.
