Our friends the Girl Scouts are hosting their annual trail race/walk 5k Saturday 9/26 at Camp Martha Johnson. It’s a good one, and they have s’mores at the end! Here’s the info:

For convenience:

Here is some information and a few reminders about the race on Saturday.

Parking: there is a large field across from the main festival area on Hortman Mill Road behind the old courthouse and down the hill a bit. Please be mindful of the festival set up and your fellow runners.

General Schedule:

Bib pick-up and race-day registration will be open from 6:30am until the race starts at 7:30am. This is located at the festival art barn, right across from the field parking area.

We'll have a brief opening ceremony around 7:20, and the 5k begins at 7:30am and the fun run shortly thereafter.

There is a water stop at about the halfway point in front of the Roberta Chamber of Commerce; we'll have Gatorade, water, and snacks at the finish.

Awards will begin shortly after the last runner crosses the finish, approximately around 8:45am.

Don't forget to stick around afterwards to check out the JugFest.
