“We Are Water” Calling all artists!

October 2026 in downtown Klamath Falls, an art group show focused on time-based media art is happening.

These days, many artists are wielding laptops and keyboards, creating works with mouse clicks instead of paint, brushes, and more traditional materials. Some of these creations are called “time-based media art,” which refers to works that occur over time, such as film, performance, video and computer-based art as examples.

Short films and video works are especially welcome.

This group art show will be located inside an old hotel. 27 rooms bring possibilities to highlight artists creatively and individually in a shared space.

We plan to utilize projectors, televisions and other means to bring the time-based media art works to life.

This call is open to artists of all ages who live or work near Klamath County.

Water connects us all. Time to explore what that connection looks, sounds, feels like, etc. We Are Water is the guide. We can’t wait to see what you create.

The deadline to submit works or concepts is September 30, 2026.

A few weeks ago the Klamath Music Festival kicked off at Watershed Row. Celebrating music, local food, art and good company. Thank you to everyone who made it out and made it possible!

Underground Art KF was excited to present LAND BACK, a collection of vibrant mixed-media paintings by Klamath-Modoc artist Ka’ila Farrell-Smith.

LAND BACK was the inaugural artist presentation in a new collaborative exhibition space between Watershed Row and U.Art KF, making Ka’ila’s work a fitting way to begin. Her paintings draw from memories and experiences of walking through her Klamath homelands, layering color, texture, and imagery to explore place, memory, identity and connection.

Check out Klamath Music & Watershed Row for more about the music festival and stay tuned for future events.

The exhibition will be on display in the Watershed Row Gallery when it opens to the public, so keep an eye on their website and come experience Ka’ila’s work in its new location.

Thank you for capturing this event wonderfully, PhotoArt by Aurora

“We Are Water” - CALL TO ARTISTS

Coming Fall 2026 to downtown Klamath Falls, we are throwing a time-based media art group show.

These days, many artists are wielding laptops and keyboards, creating works with mouse clicks instead of paint, brushes, and more traditional materials. Some of these creations are called “time-based media art,” which refers to works that occur over time, such as film, video, and computer-based art.

Time-based media art can be many things; movement, audio, photography slides, performance art and anything that unfolds over a period of time.

As we are looking for these mediums, traditional/contemporary works are accepted as well.

The deadline to submit works or concepts is September 30, 2026. Use our website, undergroundartkf.org (http://undergroundartkf.org/) to apply.

Water connects us all. Time to explore what that connection looks, sounds, feels like, etc. We Are Water is the guide. We can't wait to see what you create.
