First and foremost I would like to thank the DeLorme Family for allowing us to host a memorial Masters tournament in the name of Stacy DeLorme. I didn't personally have the honor of meeting him, but I've heard do much about him that I feel like I know him. When Jeremy DeLorme approached me about this sorry if thing to honor his dad I said yes and ran with it. With a short time frame to plan, promote, and talk to potential sponsors, it took the help of a lot of people to make this happen. We ended up having 39 bowlers from around the region participate. I want to thank High Desert Peptide, Holliday Jewelers, Del Ellis Construction, Howard's Meats, Planet Motors, Heat Wave Pro Shop, Wile E's Corner Pro Shop, The Epicenter, The Aftershock Lounge, Keith Kilgore , Jeremy DeLorme, Jordan DeLorme-Richardson, Trish Standefer, and Mackenzie Audiss for everything they did in the prep, planning and ex*****on to make this run without a hitch this weekend. And a huge thanks to Donald D Marquart Sr and his wonderful staff at The Epicenter for hosting this tournament. Let's make this thing the biggest event of the summer in the coming years.

Congratulations to Trevor Hiatt for winning the first annual Stacy DeLorme Memorial Klamath Falls Masters this weekend and taking home the $900 first place check. As we approached the championship match it looked like the only as yet undefeated bowler in the DOUBLE ELIMINATION bracket finals, Charlie Sanders, may win the tournament without a single loss. But a late game split have the first match to Trevor and he never looked back. He went on to beat Charlie 2 games in a row for the victory, the champions plaque and the cash.

I want the thank everyone who participated this weekend. It was a very difficult pattern but it was a very fun tournament to bowl. I'll keep you posted for ant future sweeper events and also plan for the 2nd annual masters tournament next summer.
