☀️Summer Camps a Rockin!!🌈 There are still a few days left to sign up to "Take the Stage" for 6-10 year olds and work on "Nailing The Audition" for students age 11-17.

🎭 Take the Stage- Calling all actors! It’s time to step into the spotlight and strut your stuff! From character development, stage direction, creative movement, vocalization, and so much more, participants will put on a show of a lifetime! Perfect for beginners, or returning performers alike, this camp encourages creativity, self-expression, and an understanding of theatre both onstage and behind the scenes.

Take the Stage campers will learn and perform fractured fairy tales and fables for friends and family as a grand finale on the final camp day!

🗣Nailing the Audition- Dive deep into character and storytelling at our monologue-based camp! This focused camp helps young performers develop the skills needed to choose, analyze, and perform strong monologues with confidence. Through guided instruction, acting exercises, and
individualized coaching, students will explore character motivation, emotional truth, and
clear storytelling on stage.

Campers will work on age-appropriate monologues while building audition-ready skills such as cold reading, stage presence, and connecting with an audience. The camp concludes with a showcase where students present their monologues for family and friends, leaving with stronger performance tools, increased confidence, and material they can use for future auditions.

Bertha is a long-suffering housewife, mother, and card-carrying member of the S**t Snatchers of the New Order.

You can catch her and the entire Bumiller family on the stage at Theatre of Dare this summer every Wednesday and Thuraday from June 24 thru August 13 in Kitty Hawk.

'Greater Tuna' is a hilarious show about small town livin' and the big character who can come from those little backward towns.

Well if you're still waiting, you've got until Sunday, June 14th to sign up!! These two great kids theater summer camps will be brought to you by the fabulous Ms Stacey of

🪝Children ages 6-10 join us from 9am to 11:30am June 15-19 for Scallywag Stage Camp - Set sail on a swashbuckling adventure at our week-long Pirate themed camp, where imaginations run wild, and every camper becomes part of the crew! Kids will explore local pirate legends, and create their own pirate characters, through movement, voice and pirate themed theatre games. Participants will make their own pirate hats and build their own swords (the swimmy noodle variety) as they plot adventures on the high seas while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills.🪝

🤣Then, students 11-17 will have a fun afternoon at the LaughLab Improv Camp -Get ready to think fast, take creative risks, and have a blast at our Improv Theatre Camp!
This high-energy, week-long camp focuses on the fundamentals of improvisation, including
teamwork, active listening, character creation, and the famous “Yes, And” mindset. Through engaging games, exercises, and scene work, students will learn how to build strong choices, support their scene partners, and trust their instincts on stage. Designed for both beginners and experienced performers, the camp encourages confidence,
collaboration, and quick thinking in a fun, supportive environment.🤣

Meet Arles Struvie (Leah Cribb) & Thurston Wheelis (Mike Blanchard): Devoted disc jockeys at radio station OKKK, providing the town's updates, news, and daily commentary.

In this hilarious send-up of small-town morals and mores, they are among the upstanding citizens of Tuna, Texas’ third-smallest town. The long-running off-Broadway hit features two actors creating the entire population of Tuna, Texas in a tour de farce of quick-change artistry, changing costumes and characterizations faster than a jack rabbit runs from a coyote. Two actors, 20 characters, and a barrel of laughs, y’all.🤣

🌈Two weeks of Theatre Summer Camp & three performances...uhhh YES, PLEASE!🌈

Your last chance is coming up to sign up for our brand NEW SrageWave Drama Camp. Enrollment closes on Sunday, June 14th. Is your teen ready for this one of a kind experience.

Students ages 12-17 will experience the thrill of theatre at our two-week intensive! Designed
for dedicated young performers, this immersive program takes students through the full
production process of a professionally staged show—from first read-through to final
curtain call.

Campers will audition, rehearse, and perform for a paying public audience, gaining real-world experience both onstage and behind the scenes. In addition to acting and performance training, students will collaborate on set, costume, and prop design, learning how technical elements shape storytelling and support character and style.

Featherstone and a ragtag group of “historians,” the show races through Columbus, Pilgrims, Founding Fathers, the Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression, and beyond—all before the clock runs out.
