❤️ Not exactly the fun Friday I had planned! 😔
I’m on my way to the doctor because my herniated disc has decided to throw a major temper tantrum! 🤦‍♀️ I’ve been dealing with pain ever since our move to Cocoa Beach, and it’s finally time to get some relief.
If you could send a few prayers my way, I would sure appreciate them! 🙏❤️ Hoping to get back to feeling like myself soon! 🌺💕

Good Morning Friends!

👽💚 LITTLE GREEN ALIENS! 💚👽

Houston, we have a problem! I think the aliens have landed…and apparently they've taken up gardening! 😂👽🌿

Our floral color wheel is continuing its colorful adventure, and today we're exploring GREEN! 💚

Now, you all know I have a soft spot for plants that look like they belong on another planet, and THIS is exactly why I chose this photograph! 😂
Just look at the crazy structure of this succulent! Those thick, pointed leaves reaching out in every direction, the little star-shaped formations, and all those shades of lime, chartreuse and golden green with hints of peach along the edges. 😍💚

It almost looks like a tiny colony of alien plants gathering for a meeting!
“Attention, Earthlings! We've come for your sunshine…and we brought our own water!” 👽😂☀️

And that's actually one of the coolest things about succulents. Their thick, fleshy leaves store water, allowing them to survive dry conditions without needing a drink every five minutes.
So not only do they look like visitors from another galaxy, they're practically equipped for space travel! 🚀🌿😂

I love finding these unusual shapes in God's creation. Who knew something as simple as the color green could have so much personality?
And if this really IS an alien invasion, I say we let them stay. At least these little guys won't eat everything in the refrigerator! 😂👽💚

Have a fabulous Friday, friends! 🌺💚

🌿🌸 FRESH OFF THE DESIGN TABLE! 🌸🌿
GO BIG OR GO HOME… and apparently, I have decided BIG is my new favorite size! 😂🌿
Remember those absolutely stunning, oversized florals I found at Babette’s Furniture? Well, here she is in all her glory! 😍 This is the finished arrangement from my LIVE on Wednesday, and goodness gracious, this girl knows how to make an entrance!
With oversized blooms, gorgeous earthy tones, tropical-inspired florals and flowing greenery, this beauty was designed to fill an empty space with color, texture and LIFE! 🌸🌾
I've included a picture of her sitting in front of my TV cabinet so you can appreciate just how BIG she really is! 😂
But here's something else I'm really excited about…
🌸 CUSTOM DESIGN IS BECOMING A BIGGER PART OF SHOP PARADISE CREATIONS! 🌸
As I continue growing as a designer, I'm finding that one of the things I love most is taking on the challenge of creating something specifically for someone's home.
You know that empty corner you've been staring at? 👀 Or that beautiful cabinet that needs something special beside it? Maybe you've searched every home décor store imaginable and still can't find that ONE piece that feels like it belongs in your space.
THAT is what I want to create for you! ❤️
Not something mass-produced from a big-box store, but a beautiful, one-of-a-kind design created around YOUR space, YOUR colors and YOUR personal style.
This particular arrangement is staying right here in my home, but I would absolutely LOVE to create something special for yours! 🥰
💌 Have a space that needs a little life? Send me a message! Let's talk about what you're envisioning and see what we can dream up together.
And if my arrangements keep getting any bigger, Chris may have to start measuring the doorways before I begin designing! 🤣🌿🌸

Well, I had to go get my “girls” checked today. 🩷😂🩷😂🩷

Yep… annual mammogram time! Not exactly how I would choose to spend part of my day, but it’s one of those things you just gotta do! 🤷‍♀️

And since it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I figured I’d remind all my ladies out there to quit putting it off and go get your girls checked too! 🎀

It may not be the most comfortable appointment you’ll ever have… but a few minutes of squishing is definitely worth the peace of mind. 😂❤️

So there’s your reminder from me — make the appointment and get those beauties checked! 💕🎀

🎥🌿 TIPS & TRICKS — WHAT YOU DON’T SEE ON A LIVE! 🌿🎥

Have you ever wondered what’s actually around the camera when someone is LIVE? 😂 Because what you see and what the room actually looks like can be two VERY different things!

On camera, you’ll see me, my worktable and all that wonderful open space behind me. What you won’t see is that my table is actually facing a big blank wall. 😂

But here’s the thing — I’m not looking at the wall! I’m looking at my camera or iPad, reading your comments and chatting with all of you. 📱❤️ Setting the studio up this way gives me a huge amount of unobstructed space behind me so I can move around, grab supplies and create without feeling boxed in.

💡 THE TIP: When setting up a space for Lives, think about what the camera sees AND what you need to function comfortably behind the scenes. Pretty is great, but functional wins!

Eventually this table will be replaced with one on wheels, so I can move it wherever I need it — especially when this studio has to transform back into a guest room.

Because if you come stay at my house, I’d like you to be able to reach the bed without hacking your way through a floral jungle with a machete. 🌿🌸😂

🌺 Petals in Paradise 🌺
Good Morning Friends!

Whoever said white was just white clearly never got up close and personal with a flower like THIS! 😂🤍🌸

Our floral color wheel has already taken us through bold reds, sunshine yellows and playful oranges. But today we’re changing things up and giving the softer side of God’s creation a little time in the spotlight! 🤍✨

And OH MY GOODNESS, look at all those layers! 😍

This gorgeous bloom is showing off everything from snowy white to buttery cream, soft ivory and the faintest little touches of blush pink tucked inside those ruffled petals.

It’s almost like someone gathered every shade of white from the paint department, tossed them into one flower and said, “There! Now try picking just ONE!” 😂🎨

As a floral designer, I absolutely LOVE these subtle differences. White and cream might seem like simple colors, but put them together and suddenly you have depth, texture and elegance that can be just as breathtaking as the brightest flowers in the garden. 🌸🤍

And here’s a little thought for our Thursday…

Not every beautiful thing needs to be loud to get your attention. Sometimes the quietest colors have the most interesting details, especially when you get close enough to appreciate them. 💕

Although, with THIS many ruffles, I’m not sure this flower got the memo about keeping things simple! 😂

Have a beautiful Thursday, friends! 🤍🌺

🍊🧡Petals in Paradise 🍊🧡
Good Morning Friends!

Our floral color wheel is spinning again, and Wednesday apparently woke up and chose ORANGE! 🧡😂

We started the week with those deep burgundies melting into red, yesterday we turned the brightness all the way up with sunshine yellow, and today we’re landing right between the two with this gorgeous burst of orange!

And this bloom didn’t settle for one shade either. Look closely at my photo and you’ll find soft peachy orange, bright citrus tones, coral and even little touches that lean back toward red. It’s like red and yellow got together and said, “You know what? We can do better together.” 😂🎨🧡

Orange is one of those colors that just feels happy. It’s warm, energetic, playful and pretty darn difficult to ignore—which makes it perfect for the middle of the week when we could all use a little extra POP! 💥🧡

And that’s exactly why I love getting this close with my camera. From a distance you see an orange flower. Up close, you discover an entire palette hiding inside one bloom. 📸🌺

Three days into our color wheel and God’s creation certainly isn’t running low on crayons. 😂🎨

Have a wonderful Wednesday, friends! 🧡🌺
