INKTOBER DAY 4: DODGE

Today I lacked the time to work on todays prompt. Fortunately we have another artist on our hands who was more than happy to fill the page with ink. My son took the challenge and created monster trees attacking a hero. He is swiftly dodging the trees roots.

I’m so very proud of my sons drawing. He worked well and I love the patterns he incorporated into it.

Perhaps we will see more of L.A.G. ‘s work throughout inktober. 😉

INKTOBER DAY 3: PATH

I honestly had a difficult time figuring out what I wanted to do with this prompt. When I started I was feeling unsure about the idea I was trying to go for. I tried a new technique with the background and the dark planet. How it came out looks so cool! What do you think?

INKTOBER DAY ONE: DREAM

I was really nervous about this when I started. Almost to the point where I was psyching my self out so much I didn’t want to even start. I decided that i need to just trust the process. I love how this turned out, and how the ink looks on this paper. I’m already thinking about some ideas for tomorrow!

Ya girl is ready for ! I’ve never used this kind of paper before, but I feel whatever is created on it will have such a cool look to it! This entire sketchbook will be dedicated to inktober drawings only! Ready for day one tomorrow!

This is a portrait ive been working on of my son. I originally wanted it to be a black and white drawing with a green background, but the process took me to a mixed media approach instead.

Like Bob Ross said “We don’t make mistakes, we have happy accidents” 😉 took a while, but im so happy with how it turned out.

I love my son, he is the inspiration for many things in my life.

While I’m letting the portrait I’m working on breath, I decided to crack open this scetch book I got from the exhibit that came through last year. I’ve decided it will be dedicated to skull and skeleton drawings. Nothing too extensive. Something simple to exercise my creativity with out stressing out about it. Here are two skulls, one from yesterday and one from today. ☺️
