Nvidia has overtaken Apple to become the most valuable company in the world, reaching a market value of $3.53 trillion. Throughout the week, the two companies have exchanged titles, with Nvidia's value dipping to $3.47 trillion while Apple closed the day at $3.52 trillion. The surge in Nvidia's value is largely driven by the increased demand for their chips, fueled by the rise of artificial intelligence. Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell, stated that "more companies are incorporating AI into their daily operations, and the demand for Nvidia's chips remains strong."
