Looks like Molly Moon's in Kirkland is scheduled to open the day before our first open mic night right next door at Moss Bay Hall!

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is opening its 12th location, this time in Kirkland.

If you like free parking and don't want to drive around aimlessly in search of it, the City Hall Wester Lot is just a block away (but up a hill), and the Kirkland Public Library's parking deck is ~3 blocks away.

We are once again looking for a new venue to host the event, and have some leads, but it's not coming together in time for this month's event.

Talked to a few potential sites over the weekend. Question for y'all: would it be a deal-killer for you if there was a $5 entry fee? Or alternatively a $10 drink token purchase required to enter?

Bad news. Canceled: Open Mic at Side Hustle. We are very sad to report that Side Hustle has changed its business model and will no longer be hosting live music. The beloved monthly open mic is canceled. Thank you to everyone who attended or performed over the past nine months. It was a joy while it lasted!

To be clear, that means the next event scheduled for Nov 10 is NOT happening now.

We don't yet know whether we will be seeking a new venue, but stay tuned!
