That was some fang-tastic time we had creating these spooky projects in our Halloween mixed media art workshop at NKCC!! 👻🎃 Children 8-12yrs painted eerie haunted mansions with acrylics on canvas, and made a bubbling witch’s cauldron fridge magnet as well as a witch’s hat bookmark- all this frightful fun in just one class!! And yet, nobody wanted the class to end! 🎃

Some serious spooky fun coming to North Kirkland Community Center!!👻🎃

In this 2 hour mixed media Halloween art workshop, children 8-12yrs will be making various projects working with acrylic paints on canvas panel, air dry modeling clay and more! In the end they would walk home with a haunted mansion painting on canvas board, a bubbling cauldron fridge magnet, and time allowing a halloween themed bookmark 🧙Now isn’t that absolutely fang-tastic??

So much creativity happened in May and June that I missed posting about!! For starters, our young creators 8-12yrs made these beautiful art pieces combining acrylic painting and delicate flower modeling using air dry clay!! I’m dreaming of
riding one of these bikes through wildflower fields😍🚲🌹How about you??

Roses for Mom 🌹❤️

These gorgeous projects created by children 8-12yrs in our mixed media after school class at North Kirkland Community Center for Mother’s Day 😍 Roses handcrafted from air dry clay and fixed on a heart shaped picture frame.. some Moms are in for a real treat 💕

We had baskets full of fun in today’s spring break camp with 8-12yr olds at North Kirkland Community Center 😍
Our young artists painted those lovely ‘woven’ baskets on wooden boards and even 3 hours felt short for making and decorating those ‘eggs’ from air dry clay 🐣

We wrapped up the ‘winter’ season (about time! ) and welcomed Spring with these happy and bright picture frames in our Mixed Media After school art class at North Kirkland Community Center! Aren’t they absolutely gorgeous? 😍😍
