Art History: Darren Bader's Fruits, Vegetables; Fruit and Vegetable Salad: Acquired by the Whitney Museum of American Art, this conceptual installation places a vibrant variety of fresh produce on pedestals across the gallery. Museum staff regularly harvest the "impeccable sculptures," chop them into salads, and serve them to visitors before restocking the pedestals with fresh produce.

Super Happy Birthday to Gallery Artist Heather Adamek. When Heather graduated from college in the early 90’s she had no idea what she wanted to do but she really wanted to travel. Heather met a family from Bengaluru (Bangalore at the time) and lived with them for 9 months. Heather loved her time there - the people she met were so lovely, the incredible food and lush vegetation of Southern India stir her heart to this day and it was such a gift to Heather to have had the opportunity to spend time there.
