What exactly is Dance School Infiniti — and how is our training different?
We get these questions often, especially during enrollment season.
Why don’t we have separate Ballet, Contemporary, or Jazz classes?
Why do students stay in one group throughout the season?
Why do we enroll new students only once a year?
The answer is simple: DSI is not a collection of separate dance classes. It is a complete training system.
Our students train in permanent groups based on age and experience. Throughout the year, they work with different styles and directions of contemporary dance — contemporary, jazz, lyrical, commercial styles, modern dance — along with technique, physical training, flexibility, coordination, musicality, body control, and performance skills.
One group. Multiple styles. One continuous training process.
Our goal is not to limit a student to one style. We want to develop versatile dancers with a strong foundation — dancers who can think, work, adapt to different choreography, and feel confident on stage.
Dance School Infiniti was founded in 2007 by Olga Aseeva, professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher, and former dancer and teacher-choreographer with the TODES Ballet.
More than 25 years in the dance industry, 19 years of DSI, hundreds of students, and more than 50 dance projects and stage productions have shaped the training system we use today.
We believe in strong dance fundamentals and creativity in choreography. Discipline and individuality.
Our enrollment for new students takes place once a year, from July 1 through September 1. After September 1, enrollment closes and we do not accept new students during the school year. This allows our groups to develop consistently and work through the season as one team.
And every season culminates in our large Dance School Infiniti show.
For us, the stage is not simply an end-of-year recital. Rehearsing, working as a team, taking responsibility, staying focused, connecting with an audience, and becoming confident on stage are all part of a dancer’s education.
We don’t simply teach movement.
We teach our students to dance.
To work.
To think.
And to become performers.
This is Dance School Infiniti.
