Rocking RB Ranch

Rocking RB Ranch Raising, riding and offering high quality horses. Rocking RB Ranch is home to Randy, Kathryn and Tessa Britton. Thank you for stopping by! www.rockingrbranch.com

Solid, gentle, handy working geldings are our passion, and we are proud of the horses we have in our string. Randy is a professional rodeo pickup man working some of the biggest events in the country, so our horses are exposed to all types of venues and environments both at home and on the road. As a family we offer a handful of quality horses to the public each year. This includes weanlings, year

lings, started young horses and proven aged geldings, but will certainly vary year to year. If you’re in the market for a horse now or in the future, here are a few things to know about our program:
- We expect 3-4 foals per year that will wean in October.
- We do accept deposits on foals after 15 days of age.
- Although we may keep a replacement filly from time to time, there is a high probability that fillies will be available when they wean. So if you see one you like, don’t hesitate to ask about them!
- It is likely that colts will not be available until after their 3 year old year, if at all.
- If we are offering an aged gelding, they will be exactly what we say they are and will be priced accordingly. Be sure to check out our website and do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time as we always love to visit about our horses.

Bill Smith has always been a hero of mine, and I have been fortunate to also call him a mentor and a friend for the past 20 some years. There are few made like Bill, and I cherish the time I spent with him and the lessons he’s taught me. That last handshake in March sure means the world to me, now more than ever. Our love and prayers are with Carole Smith and the entire family as they grieve the loss of this great man.

It is pretty neat to see Shorty on this list. Our horses are our pride and joy, so an acknowledgment like this truly means a lot. Thank you to all those who voted for him!

Our horses mean the world to us, and a huge focus of ours is having a string that can not only perform in the arena as top notch pickup horses, but also be broke and gentle enough to fill whatever role is needed at the rodeo. Having Levi acknowledged in this way during his very first year on the road is just special. He’s exactly what we want our program to be!

A note from Kathryn:

Earlier this week we lost Randy’s dad, Larry, to an unrelenting and cruel form of Parkinson’s Disease. A Vietnam veteran with two Purple Hearts and a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, Larry has always been the bedrock of the Britton family. He was reliability personified - a quiet, steadfast man who never once put himself first and always showed up for others. His love for his wife, children and grandchildren was immense, and I am forever thankful for all that he poured into each one of us, as we will need it now more than ever.

With great love comes great loss, and we welcome your prayers as we navigate through this deep valley of grief.
