The smART Kinston Foundation is transforming Lenoir County by rebuilding the regional economy with a focus on art, design and sustainability.

The mission of the smART Kinston Foundation is to continue the growth of Kinston's creative economy. We aim to do this by bringing in artists to live and work in the Arts & Cultural District, by connecting them to downtown and by making them part of the larger Kinston community. But we can't make this effort successful on our own! We want to engage you - the artists, the neighbors, the community. We want to hear from you.

👟Join our executive director at the Lenoir County Farmers Market this Saturday 10/10 from 10AM - Noon. It’s the third annual poster making party for the Mother Earth Brewing Ironclad Half-Marathon & 5-K.

🖍️Show up and make a poster for the race route. All supplies provided!

Artists Annelise Brady, Joanne McCobb, and Em O’Brien are spending some time together in the studio today! They’re working on their wares for Printapalooza, our celebration of all things print held in collaboration with our pals at Community Council for the Arts-Kinston, NC & Art 105 Kinston, NC.

Mark your calendars for 10/24! Come shop the vendor artist market & enjoy some hands-on printing activities for all ages.

The fun takes place 10-3PM in the CCA/Art 105 parking lot.

What can you expect to find at Printapalooza? Fine art prints, screen prints, photography prints, books, comic books + more!

Tonight! Join us for the closing reception of the Neuse Reuse exhibit.

It features trash-terpieces made from garbage and other found materials. This project has been a labor of love months in the making by smART artist Annelise Brady. Stop out to show support. The show also includes the first assignment of the year by the Lenoir Community College Sculpture I students.
