✨Artist Highlight✨
Brandon Horrocks is a conductor recognized for his thoughtful, imaginative, and expressive programming, bringing depth, innovation, and fun to the concert stage. He has been an active presence in the Salt Lake region’s orchestral community, collaborating with ensembles and audiences to create engaging and meaningful musical experiences.
In August 2025, Horrocks joined Texas A&M University–Kingsville as Adjunct Professor of Music, where he teaches beginning and advanced conducting, directs the Concert Band, and offers private instruction in conducting.
Previously, Horrocks served as Music Director and Conductor of both the Utah Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra. From 2020 to 2024, he was Assistant Conductor of the . He has also appeared as a guest conductor with the ,West Jordan Symphony, West Valley Symphony, and the Taylorsville-SLCC Symphony.
Horrocks made his Texas orchestral conducting debut with the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra in October 2025, followed by his debut with the Great Falls Symphony in December 2025. He is excited to return to Utah in April 2026 to make his debut with Opera Contempo.
