Annual Nutcracker & Showcase performances ✨ We are lifelong dancers who have spread our love of the performing arts through teaching to non-profits, after-school, summer programs, and dance companies over the last decade. We have taught at several studios across the South Shore and Cape Cod, and began Dance Dreamworks in 2011. What started as a progra

m with adult classes, specialty workshops, and private lessons then evolved in 2012 when Ensemble was created- our outreach, performance, and competition team. In June 2014, our program expanded into a full dance school, with offerings for ages 2.5 through adult. Our studio offers unique opportunities for our dancers, including community outreach, specialty workshops, a Ballet Intensive track, our Nutcracker production, a spring showcase, and more! Whether you are taking class for the first time, looking for a school that can provide more intense training, or are returning from a sabbatical, there are opportunities for you at Dreamworks. It’s almost time for back to dance! We are sharing tip number 2! Ballet students should have a proper ballet bun for class. We encourage our students 8+ to begin learning with a caretaker and by age 10/11, dancers should strive to do their bun independently. Now is a fantastic time for practicing! Remember- HAIR PINS (not Bobby Pins) are the magic 💫 ingredient to a stunning ballet bun!

As we near the new dance season, we are sharing tips on getting your dancer prepared! Tip number 1- make sure to check pointe shoes and ensure they still fit well and they’re offering enough support. If the shank is very bendy or the box is squishy, it may be time for a new pair! 🩰
