REAL TALK 🗣️

Where are my fans of Pinot Noir?

I had the honor of working harvest for this winery in 2017. They have been making incredible California Pinot Noir since the early 80’s.

I opened an ‘88 Allen Vineyard Pinot Noir for my wedding last month and was completely blown away by it’s energy. My hope is that the 94’ and 95’ vintages here will carry on that energy.

Have you had any vintage Williams Selyem wines before? Let’s chat 👇🏻

*Special thanks to for their great customer service in acquiring these rare gems!

11/4/22 🤍

So I did a thing. I got hitched to the love of my life. It was/is so surreal.

In the midst of all the busyness of the day, I was able to open a rare bottle that I had be saving for this joyous occasion.

Thanks to I was able to experience my first birth year wine. A 1988 Pinot Noir from the famed Allen Vineyard on Westside Road in Healdsburg.

This wine was made by legendary winemaker Burt Williams, who created one of the most influential California Pinot Noir brands in history. Not to mention this was the last vintage the wines were made in Burt and Ed’s garage in Fulton, California.

Getting to the point…words can’t begin to describe the pure energy that radiated from this bottle. I was so impressed with the acid structure that was still present in this 34 year old wine. I shared a taste with the charismatic and he commented it could go another 10 years. Holy crap!

It was a night to remember to say the least.

What’s in your glass tonight?Hope it’s something magical.Cheers 🥂

Thank you doesn’t quite summarize the magnitude of gratitude I have for everyone involved in this passion project.
mov and I began this journey together 4 1/2 years ago. We were joking the other day about how long this took us to finish 😂

There were times when I, myself, didn’t think it was ever going to get done.

Throw in bi-coastal living, working harvest, having children, making other films, planning a wedding and, oh yeah, a global pandemic, other things take precedence in life.

But we are here.

Even two 🚢’s passing in the night can eventually meet again.

I hope all of you who have followed us the past few years have gotten value out of these episodes.

My dream for this show remains the same.

To explore experimental, boutique wine regions in the United States.

We’ll eventually get there.

For now, please enjoy our FINAL bonus episode titled “To The Lakes, We Drink”.

*A special thank you to and for the opportunity to tell your story. We hope you enjoy the show! 🙏🏻 🍷

I don’t know much about this producer but I do know one of the proprietors worked at just like I did. And they’re sourcing primo fruit like Charles Heintz Vineyard. Lean notes of pineapple, blood orange, lemon zest, and sea salt on the nose. The aromatics followed on the palate with a soft but clean finish.

Like I said, I didn’t expect to come to Kauai and find good wine. Aloha! 🌸

It’s been awhile since I was in the vineyards of the Hudson River Region.

For the past year or so I’ve been managing a small winery tasting room in the quaint town of Los Olivos, California. It is a treasure trove of watering holes where pleasure and desire merge in perfect synergy for the blood shed from the vine. I hope one day I can continue telling my story as to how I got here.

In the meantime…

Go watch my show on Amazon Prime and YouTube. And if you enjoy it, review it. Much love as always!

Sandpiper Golf Club in Goleta is a breathtaking track! I had the pleasure of playing this course with some very generous wine club members. This was my tune-up round for the Santa Barbara Vintners Golf event in June! 🏌🏻‍♂️ 🍇
