LAST CALL!!! Call for Visual Art! “Ulster County: People, Places & Things” DROP OFF THIS FRIDAY.
Kingston, NY – Calling all visual artists! Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County (CCEUC) is seeking artwork as part of their Centennial Celebration. An art opening reception is planned for Saturday, June 1 at the CCEUC Education Center located at 232 Plaza Road in Kingston from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
• Entries will be accepted on Friday May 17, 2013 9:00am - 3:00pm at the CCEUC Education Center, 232 Plaza Road, Kingston

• Eligibility Open to all artists who reside or have resided in Ulster County. Artists may submit up to 2 pieces. Original 2-D artwork in any traditional medium including, oils, acrylics, water color, pastels, charcoal/graphite, digital art, photography and mixed media. No 3-D or floor display pieces will be accepted. Work must not exceed 20” in any dimension, including frame. All artwork submitted must be for sale.
• Presentation: CCEUC is a public and family orientated not-for-profit association. Therefore, we reserve the right to decline submissions if they are deemed offensive or inappropriate to the public.
• Sales & Statement of Intent: CCEUC will encourage sales through promotion via mailing lists, social media websites and all local media outlets. Artist will receive 70% of sale within 30 days following last day of exhibit. A 30% commission will go directly to CCEUC’s educational programming. CCEUC reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for promotion purposes.
