Another round of homeschool art classes is starting up again at Black Barn Fine Art Studio in Kingston. September Drawing in the morning features Natural Elements - trees, rocks, water, plants, sky, clouds, studying to gain confidence and skill in developing landscape drawings. Painting studio in the afternoon allows students to explore the medium of their choice, developing paintings long term and earning success with thoughtful guidance from two instructors - Derek Gundy & Farren Moss.

Homeschool Classes are for ages 12 and up, Fridays 10-12 for Drawing & 1-3 for Painting. Classes begin September 4th, but you can join anytime. Contact us with any questions.

Watercolor Studio Mentorship classes with Derek Gundy are back to Mondays beginning Monday August 31st - 9:30-12 each week (no class Labor Day) now enrolling through October, details on our Black Barn Fine Art Studio site. Derek works with intermediate painters to build paintings slowly, carefully, with guidance on reference, how to begin, how to fix problem areas, etc. a popular class with a great group of regulars. Join us this fall and make watercolor painting an important part of your life!

There’s still time to get yourself signed up for September Drawing Classes in Andrews Atelier at Black Barn Fine Art Studio in Kingston. James Andrews teaches you classical methods of drawing and seeing that will change the way you approach your work and help you achieve stronger results.

Classes are most Wednesdays 5:30-7:30 - next round begins September 2.
